Allan Kimtai SC

Allan Kimtai SC is the founding partner of Kimtai Advocates. With over 25 years of practice, he is recognised as one of Kenya's leading corporate lawyers and has been involved in some of the country's most significant M&A transactions.

Allan was admitted to the Kenya Bar in 1998 and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2018 in recognition of his distinguished service to the legal profession. He holds an LLB from the University of Nairobi and an LLM from the London School of Economics.

He regularly advises boards and C-suite executives on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and complex commercial disputes. Allan sits on the boards of several listed companies and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).

He is consistently ranked by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, and IFLR1000.
